Interesting History

I did not major in History in college. I am merely an amateur who enjoys history. These essays are not works of historical scholarship, nor are they term papers – and deliberately omit the footnotes and annotations some of you might crave. History is full of good stories and those that I find interesting, I try to retell. For if the story gets you engaged, you may perhaps go searching for the footnotes on your own.
